Pickett Property Management began operations in 1984, serving the needs of the single-family and small multi-family property owner in Kitsap County, Washington.  From the garage of their home to the old Tracyton Post office to the current office on Provost Road in Silverdale, Jim and Debbie Pickett built the company on the principals of quality housing and service.  

Over the years, some of the milestones in the development of our company were several decisions that set us apart from our competition.  As it turned out these concepts kept us focused on both the service to the homeowner and the quality of housing we offered to the public.

• Property Management is our only business!  Single family and small multi-family residences would be our specialty.  No sales, large apartment complexes, commercial, or homeowner associations.
• Limiting our service area allows us to pay close attention to each of our properties, ensuring peace of mind for the client.
• Slow growth.  Growth is necessary, but control is essential to providing quality service.
• Thorough and professionally performed tenant screening to help ensure a successful outcome. 
• Owners must commit to maintaining their properties.  The homes we represent meet strict habitability standards.
• Instituting scheduled inspections and maintenance services to ensure tenant safety, and reduce owner liability.

Today while the company has grown and the leadership of Pickett Property Management has changed hands, those same values and standards have continued.  Our dedication to providing the best in services to our owners and tenants is unwavering. 

All of the property managers and office staff are members of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). Our clients benefit from the professional education through improved business practices and up to date knowledge of the legal and regulatory environments. Pickett Property Management, Inc. supports and follows NARPM's Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct. 

Pickett Property Management, Inc. is currently the only Certified Residential Management Company® in Kitsap County.  This is the highest designation to be offered by NARPM.  The CRMC is awarded to those professional property management firms that demonstrate the highest standards in both procedures and customer service.
